Floriana is a member of the Firm’s Investment funds and financial services team. She specialises in financial market regulation, collective investment management and banking and investment services. She provides legal and regulatory advice on the day-to-day activities of Italian and foreign regulated entities (asset management companies, investment firms, banks, financial intermediaries and investment companies), as well as on the establishment, authorisation and extraordinary transactions, including managing relations with the supervisory authorities.
Floriana has developed significant expertise in the structuring and establishment of investment funds, both in a contractual and corporate form, for Italian and foreign clients, focusing on various asset classes (private equity, venture capital, private debt and real estate). She assists managers in negotiating with anchor investors and drafting ancillary agreements (e.g. carried interest distribution, co-investment agreements, etc.).
She has been involved in the implementation of projects characterised by a high degree of innovation and complexity, such as alternative investment funds, club deals, master-feeder structures and other investment solutions designed to allow professional, retail and private banking clients to invest in so-called “private markets”. She also assists various promoters and first-time teams in structuring investment vehicles, as well as major international and domestic investors in the legal assessment of investments.
She graduated cum laude from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 2017 and was admitted to the Milan Bar Association in 2019. Floriana joined the Firm in 2024 after having worked with leading national and international law firms in the same area of specialisation.
