Federico Cenzi Venezze’s practice focuses on advising international and Italian clients on corporate and financial matters, including on corporate governance, public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate litigation, capital markets and finance transactions.

He joined the firm in 2022. Previously, he worked for 8 years in a leading international law firm in Milan and in Paris, and before that, for 4 years in a well-known Italian law firm in Milan.

He graduated, summa cum laude, from the Law School of Università Cattolica di Milano in 2007. In 2013 he received an LL.M. from Harvard Law School and he was awarded with the Victor Brudney Prize for the best paper in corporate governance. In 2014 he completed a Ph.D. program in corporate law at University of Brescia. He was a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School in 2011 and in 2017.

He authored or co-authored several papers on corporate governance matters, which are published in leading international law review journals, such as European Business Organization Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Business Lawyer and Revue Trimestrielle de Droit Financier.

Federico Cenzi Venezze is a member of the Milan Bar since 2010, a member of the New York Bar since 2014 and a member of Paris Bar since 2018.

He is a native Italian speaker and he is fluent in English and in French.
